He served as the Chairman of Hologic Inc.'s Board of Directors from June 2001 to November 2002 and Director from October 1985 to October 2007. He served as a Director of Reveal Imaging Technologies, Inc. He served as Director of Vivid Technologies Inc., from July 1989 to January 2000. He is the Principal Author of fifteen patents involving X-ray technology. Dr. Stein received a Ph.D. in Physics from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
