The culture oversll is terrible. People are very unhappy in my department and msny people are leaving for better pay and benefits. This place used to be a very nuce plave to work but as it expanded quickly they put profits and the egos of physicians above all. A very toxic OR culture with MD kings.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The benefits specifically the 401k are subpar for the industry.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having a say on what i do. I also like my co workers.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was efficient and felt like it would be a good place to work.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Slow down and allow inout from team members ither than physicians who are just looking after their financial gain.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Treatung employees, especially advanced practice RN's better. We are treated as 2nd class citizens and have sone of yhe most restrictive practices in the country. MD's are the onky people who have aby say in the organization. The rest of us just follow orders. It's exhausting and demeaning.
