Melissa Batalin has built a marketing career that blends art and science — ghost-writing memoirs, editing bestsellers, building immersive web sites, designing exhibit spaces for state museums, and coalescing moments into encounters that are greater than the sum of their parts. Melissa has spent the last decade working in higher education, acting as a catalyst for design thinking and integrating creative, media, and strategy to reach students and create compelling, content-driven, college shopping experiences. She's worked with small, private liberal arts schools and large public institutions including Adelphi University, Boston College, Clarkson University, Excelsior College, Lycoming College, New York School of Interior Design, Spelman College, St. John’s University and University of Pennsylvania. She lives in New York and joined HotChalk in 2016.
