Adam Roston — Chief Executive Officer of IAC Publishing at IAC

Mr. Adam Roston the Chief Executive Officer of IAC Publishing at IAC/InterActiveCorp since June 3, 2016. Mr. Roston served as Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at IAC/InterActiveCorp since July 24, 2015 until June 3, 2016. Mr. Roston oversaw M&A and investing activity across IAC's portfolio of 150 digital brands, along with the identification of new opportunities outside of IAC's core focus areas. During his tenure at IAC, he has been instrumental in several high-profile, strategic transactions, including the acquisition of About.com and IAC's entry into the online education space with its purchase of Tutor.com. Mr. Roston served as Managing Director of Corporate Development at Mode Media Corporation (formerly Glam Media, Inc.) since September 2010. He has nearly 10 years of extensive US and international M&A experience, specializing in negotiations and the management and execution of over 15 large-scale consumer and digital media deals, including the $1.2B acquisition of the public company FAST. In his career, he held several corporate development roles at Microsoft, where he drove more than a dozen successful strategic technology acquisitions across North America, Europe and Asia and played a key role in M&A for Microsoft's enterprise software division. Before Microsoft, he worked as an Associate in the Investment Banking M&A and Technology groups at Merrill Lynch in London and Palo Alto. Mr. Roston has a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego.
