Jeffery A. Snow — Senior Vice President of Business Development, Senior Vice President of Legal and General Counsel at Iamgold Corporation

Mr. Jeffery A. Snow, also known as Jeff, has been the General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Business Development at IAMGOLD Corp. since 2009 and serves as its Senior Vice President of legal. Mr. Snow served as Corporate Secretary of IAMGOLD Corp. since 2009. Prior to joining IAMGOLD in November 2009, he served as the Managing Director of Mining Group at McMillan LLP and provided strategic and hands-on mining law advice to clients. He was involved in virtually all aspects of mining law including, acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, options and joint ventures, as well as environmental and class action litigation. He served as a Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Xstrata Canada Corporation since April 2002. Mr. Snow has spent his entire career in the mining industry. He joined Noranda Mines in 1981. He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Falconbridge Ltd. until March 2006. He served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Noranda Inc., holding company of Falconbridge Ltd. He served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs at Falconbridge Limited from October 2001 to April 2002. He served as Vice-President for Legal at Falconbridge Limited from April 1998 to October 2001 and as Vice-President and General Manager, CCR copper refinery at Noranda Inc. from October 1996 to April 1998. During his 25-year tenure with Noranda/Falconbridge, Mr. Snow served as General Counsel to many of its companies as well as President and Chief Executive Officer of a major public mining company and Vice President and General Manager of a world class metallurgical facility. He has led legal teams at a number of international mining companies and has worked on major acquisitions/dispositions, financings, class action litigation and international joint ventures in over 40 countries. Mr. Snow worked on mining transactions in over 20 countries. He has been a Director of Nickel Mountain Resources AB since March 3, 2011. His academic credentials include a business degree from Queen's University and a law degree from U.W.O.
