I worked with another medical company 30 years prior to ICU. They offered me a fair compensation, and continue to work with and develop all of their employees. I judge them on two things: Not how they treat me, but how they treat the least of their employees, and two: Leadership focus & execution
What makes you most happy at work?
The challenge and the atmosphere. Management flexibility.
What did you like most about the interview process?
When I interviewed it felt like they were "pulling" for me. They gave me a tour of the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Constructive feedback. There is never negative consequences for sharing a descending or contrasting opinion. Good ideas are recognized and implemented.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all cross over to help each other when needed. We respect each other's abilities, and mentor if appropriate. We are all friends.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
1. They focus on things that matter to the company (no themselves) 2. Extreme customer-centric, 3. Respect and inspire work force. 4. Lead by Example.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It is fair based on my observation, and not on their arbitrarily imposed financial restraints. The Medical is as good as I have had. Most other compensations are in alignment with the industry.
