Mr. Michael John Yates, also known as Mike, has been Chief Accounting Officer of IDEX Corporation since February 2010 and has been its Vice President since January 3, 2017. Mr. Yates served as Vice President of IDEX Corporation since October 2005 until September 10, 2016 and also served as its Co-Controller since October 10, 2005 and Controller since December 2005. He served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of IDEX Corporation since September 9, 2016 until December 31, 2016. He joined IDEX from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he served as its Audit Senior Manager from November 1999 to October 2005. Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Yates spent 12 years with KPMG, LLP. He is a certified public accountant and holds his Bachelor's in Accounting from Indiana University.
