The interview was friendly and informative and not stressful.
I get more benefits from IEEE than from any other organization I worked for.
Again, once we have solid, skilled leadership that can drive positive change forward then the outlook will be better and more positive.
They do not have any real leadership experience. It would be better if an outside 3rd party firm came in, ran a skills assessment for leadership and replaced them if they could not be trained appropriately.
There are pockets of good quality staff and hangers on with no clue. It's hit or miss as to when meetings/projects are run efficiently or not. This is one of the negative outcomes from not having strong solid leadership.
It's a very polarizing environment, more hostile due to the lack of leadership. The cross teams tend to fight more and point fingers when all goes wrong rather than collaborate effectively or take accountability. This is a product of the weak senior leadership.
