This might possibly be the worst time to operate a business. Right when the Pandemic hit, Illuminate showed its grit in being able to pivot in any direction districts decided to go. That is when I understood that this company knows what it's doing and I am proud to be a part of it.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Communication. Everyone is upfront about what is happening with the company. That is very important to me.
What makes you most happy at work?
My coworkers are the best part of work. I know that it is hard to find a strong team that has my back. I treasure it every day.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I feel like everyone respects each other regardless of what team you are on or what position you hold. This makes it easy for me to reach and ask questions to different departments.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I was encouraged to ask any question. Even if it painted the company in a bad light. All questions were taken and any uncertainties I might of had prior to working at Illuminate were alleviated.
What are some of the best things about your team?
During these times where everyone works from home, things can easily be taken out of context through email and messaging apps. My team is patient and understanding and takes the time to alleviate any miscommunication. I love this about my team.
