What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is very approachable and we have a lot of high intellect on that team.

The senior LT is knowledgeable about our industry, they stay on top of market trends and government decisions that are upcoming that will affect the Company. They are also compassionate and advocates of the employees.

I like the direction of the company. I also like how the SLT look's after the employees and their family's health and wellbeing, They genuinely care about the workforce.
Communication. Everyone is upfront about what is happening with the company. That is very important to me.

What are some of the best things about your team?
The team is incredibly collaborative and supportive. Everyone has their strengths and areas of expertise but no one is above helping another team member to accomplish a task.

The team is experienced, smart, collaborative, and engaging. We work together well and have the best interest of the company an employees in mind. No ego's so the focus is really about getting it right and delivering excellent service. There's willingness to help each other so we are all learning.

Shared work ethics. Our team has limited resources and everyone is willing to work hard to support each other.
They are all very smart people who understand the direction our leaders are pointing us toward. Also, the talent is off the charts......
During these times where everyone works from home, things can easily be taken out of context through email and messaging apps. My team is patient and understanding and takes the time to alleviate any miscommunication. I love this about my team.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Like other SaaS company is fast paced which means there is a sharp and steep learning curve. The people are wonderful and being in the education space and helping teachers spark learning feels like we are answering a greater calling.

There's a sense of purpose for why the Company exists and what we are doing to help school districts, educators, and students. Virtually all employees and managers give each the benefit of the doubt and assume positive intent.

I feel like everyone respects each other regardless of what team you are on or what position you hold. This makes it easy for me to reach and ask questions to different departments.

It was relevant, well-planned, and organized.

Smooth process. You're screened by phone, interviewed by team, and you're given a timely response.
I was temp to hire. So I did not go through the same process most employees go through.
I was encouraged to ask any question. Even if it painted the company in a bad light. All questions were taken and any uncertainties I might of had prior to working at Illuminate were alleviated.
It was quick, succinct and easy to get through.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The work culture has gone downhill significantly. There doesn't appear to be a clear direction from our senior leadership and we are starting to nickel and dime our clients. The senior leadership team continues to hire their colleagues from previous companies rather than growing talent from within
