Mr. Donald Silvio Savant, also known as Don, has been President of Theatre Development & Film Distribution at IMAX China Holding, Inc. since September 8, 2011. Mr. Savant served as Executive Vice President of IMAX Corporation since January 2015 and its Managing Director of Asia Pacific since January 2007 until January 2016. In his dual role, he is responsible for overseeing IMAX Corporations sales, marketing and operations in the Asia Pacific region, including Korea, Hong Kong and China. Mr. Savant joined IMAX Corporation in April 2000 as Vice President of Sales - Asia Pacific. He also served as Senior Vice President of IMAX Corporation since January 2008. Mr. Savant is involved in securing major multi-theatre deals for IMAX Corporation throughout the Asia Pacific region, including contracts with the largest commercial exhibitors in Korea, Hong Kong and China. Mr. Savant has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry and a total of 17 years experience in China and Asia.
