Mark Welton — President of IMAX Theatres at IMAX Corporation

Mr. Mark Welton has been the President of Imax Theatres at IMAX Corporation since October 2011. Mr. Welton served as the Consultant of Stockport Exploration Inc. since February 2013. He directs IMAX's Theatre Sales and Operations worldwide, developing and executing strategies to further its growth and extend its leadership position in the entertainment technology industry. He oversees IMAX's technology efforts in projection technology and serves as the Executive in charge of its Canadian headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario. Mr. Welton served as Executive Vice President of Corporate & Digital Development and Theatre Operations at IMAX Corporation from April 2007 to March 29, 2012. He served as Senior Vice President of Theatre Operations at IMAX Corporation from October 2003 to June 2006. He served as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs of IMAX Corporation from September 2001 to October 2003 and since January 2000. He also played an integral role in solidifying the Company's partnership with its two largest North American exhibitors -- AMC and Regal Cinemas. He led the successful development of the IMAX's revenue share business model and digital transition, which has accelerated the its network growth. He joined IMAX Corporation in July 1997 as Director of Business Affairs. Mr. Welton was an Associate Lawyer at Stikeman, Elliot from 1994 to July 1997. He served as Non-executive Director of IMAX China Holding, Inc. since April 8, 2014 until May 26, 2015. He served as a Director of Stockport Exploration Inc. from April 2011 to February 2013.
