Ms. Debra Smith, also known as Deb, of Banking Senior Vice President of Rockland Trust Company since September 25, 2016 and has been its Director of Banking & Digital Operations since April 2017. Ms. Smith oversees the Deposit Operations, Electronic Banking, Loan Operations, Branch Operations, Risk Management and Customer Contact Center teams. In addition, she leads the fraud mitigation efforts for Rockland Trust , through technology selections and process refinement to meet the ever-changing fraud landscape. She served as Director of Banking Operations at Rockland Trust Company since September 25, 2016. Prior to joining Rockland Trust in 2012 , Ms. Smith served as Executive Vice President and Bank Secrecy Act Officer for the First National Bank of Texas. Previously, she held various senior leadership roles at Sovereign Bank and Bank Boston. Ms. Smith holds an Associate degree in Management from Newbury College in Brookline, Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts.
