  • The first time you ask Google Home to open Innit or to start cooking with Innit, you’ll probably hear the response:

    “To cook with Innit, download the Innit mobile app, select a meal and try again.”

    This means you need to connect your Innit account.

    First you’ll need to “activate” Innit on google voice by toggling this on in the “Voice” tab in the main menu of the app (three little green lines on the top left).

    Next you’ll say “Google, open the Innit App”

    Google will immediately prompt you to sign in to your Innit account via your device. Once you sign in you’re good to go and can immediately start using your Innit account.

  • First things first, you'll need to register your AEG appliance. It's an amazingly simple process that should take you less than 30 seconds. You can register at this URL: https://www.aeg.co.uk/mypages/register-a-product/

    Now that you've registered, you'll navigate to "My Appliances" in the app and take 3 quick and easy steps to connect your oven:

    1. Click on the small green circular gas-burner icon on the bottom menu bar and click "AEG":

    2. Locate your PNC (Product Number Code) inside the oven on the lower righthand side.

    3. Enter the PNC either by enabling your camera to take a photo of it, uploading a photo of it, or entering the number manually:

    Once you've completed this step successfully, you'll see this success notice.

  • To edit your profile, follow these steps after logging in:

    Click the person icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.

    Click on any of the items (allergies, diets, etc.) and you will be able to update. Clicking on an item will add a check mark, which will automatically save your changes.

    We know that diets and allergies may change, so you can update these settings at any time by following the steps above.

  • We personalize your meal recommendations based on all the information we have about you: allergens, dislikes, and and specific diet you follow. The more information we have, the better our recommendations will be.

    You can add allergens, dislikes, or diets to your profile upfront once you create your account.

    If you skip onboarding or want to update your profile later, no worries, you can do that right in your profile settings.

    If you feel your meal is too salty, try adding more of any of the existing ingredients you have especially plain or more voluminous ingredients like rice, lettuce, veggies, or meats. If you’re out of the ingredients you already used, you can get creative and add a new ingredient you have around nuts, seeds, sauce, etc. You can even add a drizzle of the oil you used to cook the meal (e.g. olive oil) to cut some of that salty taste.

    Written guidance:First is through written instruction if you click on the first step in your list of preparations you’ll see the ingredients you need along with some written cues at the bottom. Swipe left to move on to the next step in the process.

    Video guidance: If you’d like to see more detail on a particular step, for example just exactly how roughly or finely a beet should be chopped or diced, you can click on the “play” button on the top right of your app.
