Mr. James J. Nolan has been Executive Vice President of Chordant at InterDigital, Inc. since October 4, 2017. Mr. Nolan served as Executive Vice President of Interdigital Solutions at InterDigital, Inc. since May 2014 until October 4, 2017. Mr. Nolan served as an Executive Vice President of Research & Development of InterDigital, Inc. since April 2009, where he is responsible for directing all of InterDigital's engineering activities, including systems, protocol software, ASIC/DSP and platform integration and test. He served as Senior Engineering Officer of Interdigital Communications Corp. since June 5, 2006 and also served as its Executive Vice President of Engineering from February 8, 2007 to April 2009. He is a ten year veteran with Interdigital Communications Corp. He has served a variety of senior engineering positions, as a Vice President of Systems Engineering. He joined InterDigital in 1996 from the Northrop Grumman Corporation where he served technical and leadership roles on various engineering development programs. Mr. Nolan holds a BSEE from the State University of New York at Buffalo, an MSEE from Polytechnic University and has completed an Executive MBA at Hofstra University.
