Scott McQuilkin — Senior Executive Vice President of Innovation at InterDigital

Mr. Scott A. McQuilkin has been Senior Executive Vice President of Innovation at InterDigital, Inc. since October 2012 and served as its Senior Executive Vice President of Strategy & Finance since May 2012. Mr. McQuilkin served as the Chief Financial Officer of InterDigital Inc. since July 9, 2007 and was is responsible for directing the InterDigital's financial and accounting teams, leading merger and acquisition activities and supporting its capital markets efforts. He has more than 25 years of experience in executive financial management with public and privately-held companies in the technology and financial services sectors. He joined InterDigital from Metavante Lending Solutions, where he served as Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for finance, funding, acquisitions, accounting, strategy and risk management. Mr. McQuilkin served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GHR Systems, Inc., from February 2000 to June 2007 and was responsible for all financial activities including accounting, budgeting/forecasting, capital planning, cash management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, tax, purchasing and payables. He served as Chief Financial Officer of De Lage Landen Financial Services (formerly Tokai Financial Services). He developed the De Lage Landen Financial Services 's strategic plan, marketed and negotiated contracts to establish a dominant position in the emerging bank outsourcing business and engineered a significant financial restructuring which better positioned it for growth and an initial public offering At Tokai. Mr. McQuilkin held a series of positions of increasing responsibility in corporate finance and strategic planning at First Union Corporation (formerly First Fidelity Bancorporation) for more than 13 years. He served as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions of First Union Corporation, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions and completed over 20 transactions in 4 years with acquired deposits of $16 billion. He also served as Senior Vice President and Director of Financial Planning at First Fidelity where he was responsible for asset/liability planning and helped to establish investment, funding and pricing policy for First Fidelity. McQuilkin served as management consultant with Strategic Planning Associates where he managed a variety of projects in a broad range of industries, including consumer marketing, specialty chemicals and industrial products. He served as Member of the Board of Directors at De Lage Landen Financial Services. Mr. McQuilkin holds an MBA with Distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1980 and a Bachelor of Science Degree with Highest Honors from the Pennsylvania State University in 1976.
