Tommy S. Joseph — Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Technology, EHS & Global Sourcing at International Paper Company

Mr. Tommy S. Joseph has been Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Technology & EHS and Global Sourcing at International Paper Italia S.r.l. since February 2009. Mr. Joseph has been Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Technology EHS&S & Global Sourcing at International Paper Company since January 2010. Mr. Joseph is responsible for implementation of International Paper's global manufacturing initiatives, Technology, Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability and Global Sourcing for its global operations. He served as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Technology and EHS&S at International Paper Company from February 2009 to December 2009 and its Chief Technology Officer since February 2009. He was responsible for the implementation of global manufacturing initiatives, technology, sustainability and Environment Health & Safety. He joined International Paper Company in 1982 as Process Engineer at the Natchez Mill. He served as a Vice President of Specialty Papers at International Paper Company since 2002, Vice President of Technology from 2005 to February 2009 and Vice President of Global Manufacturing since November 2008. He served as Mill Manager of Manufacturing Technical Services for the Printing and Communications Papers Division at International Paper Co. since 1996. He served as Vice President of Specialty Papers Business at International Paper Co. from 2003 to 2005. Since 2004, he served as an Officer of International Paper. Since 1997, he served as Manager of the Camden, Ark, mill of International Paper Company and served there until 1998 and then served as Manager of the Mansfield, La, mill. Since March 2001, he served as Manufacturing Director of Containerboard and Kraft/Business Manager - Kraft Papers at International Paper Company and also served as its General Manager of the Industrial Papers Business. He has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Open Joint-Stock Company ILIM Group since January 2011.
