Mr. Russell J. Campanello, also known as Russ, has been Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Communications at iRobot Corporation since February 2014 and served as its Senior Vice President of Human Resources since October 26, 2010 and is responsible for all human resources (HR) and organizational development activities. Mr. Campanello has more than 25 years of industry experience. Mr. Campanello served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Administration at Phase Forward Inc. from March 18, 2008 to September 2010. He served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Genzyme Tissue Repair from February 1998 to June 2000. He served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Marketing of Keane Inc. since joining in September 2003 until October 2007. At Keane, he was responsible for leading the selection, development and retention of the highly specialized global workforce and directing investments in advertising, branding, public relations, direct and online communications and sales support programs. Mr. Campanello served as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Member of the Office of President of Keane Inc. He served as Chief People Officer of NerveWire, a business-to-business Internet professional services firm, from July 2000 to February 2003. Mr. Campanello served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Genzyme Corporation from November 1997 to June 2000. He served at Genzyme Oncology, Inc. and Genzyme Surgical Products. He served as Vice President of Nets Inc., an Internet-based marketing company from March 1996 to February 1998. He served as Vice President of Human Resources of Lotus Development Corporation from June 1987 to February 1996. He served as a Director of Webhire Inc. since October 1994. His visionary work at Lotus also landed him an Upside Magazine Human Resources Executive of the Year award. Mr. Campanello was also named as one of the 25 workplace visionaries of the past 75 years by Workforce Magazine and to HR Magazine's prestigious 50 for History listing, which recognizes 50 outstanding individuals for their significant and lasting impact on HR management. He attended Suffolk's Executive MBA program and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Lowell.
