Marc D. Ley — Chief Investment Officer and Group Executive Vice President at Irvine Company

Mr. Marc D. Ley serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Group Executive Vice President at The Irvine Company LLC. Mr. Ley has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Irvine Apartment Communities LLC (IACLLC) of Irvine Apartment Communities LP since 2001. Mr. Ley served as Chief Financial Officer and Group Senior Vice President of Finance at The Irvine Company LLC. He is responsible for The Irvine Company Inc.'s capital markets, corporate finance, project finance, public finance, corporate accounting and reporting, and information technology activities. He joined in The Irvine Company LLC (The Irvine Company Inc.) in 1999 and served as Senior Vice President , Group Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Investment Officer from 1999 to 2001. He served as Director of Real Estate Capital Markets Division, Pacific Life Insurance Company from 1995 to 1999 and employed there from 1987 to 1999 and led a team that developed a national reputation for expertise in all facets of real estate finance, both as a direct lender and a fixed-income money manager. Mr. Ley is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) and the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association (CMSA). He has a master's degree in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin, where he was mentored by the late Dr. James A. Graaskamp. He also has bachelor's degrees in finance and in real estate from the same institution.
