Mr. Mark Henigan serves as Chief Accounting Officer and Group Senior Vice President of Financial Services at The Irvine Company, LLC. Mr. Henigan served as Group Senior Vice President of Financial and Information Services at The Irvine Company, LLC since 2009. In this position, Mr. Henigan directs the Irvine Company's comprehensive Corporate Controller (which includes Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting, Payroll and Corporate Procurement functions), Information Technology and Internal Audit operations. Since joining the Irvine Company in 2006, Mr. Henigan has provided instrumental leadership in the Company's efforts to improve the effectiveness of its information technologies and enhance the transparency, consistency and efficiency in its executive-level financial reporting and auditing operations. Mr. Henigan served at the Irvine Company as Senior Vice President of Financial Services. Prior to the Irvine Company, he was an audit partner with the international accounting firm Ernst & Young. Mr. Henigan worked exclusively in Ernst & Young's Real Estate Group, serving a broad range of various-sized clients, from sole proprietorships to large publicly held companies. During his 15-year tenure with Ernst & Young, Mr. Henigan gained significant experience involving IPOs, secondary offerings, debt offerings, mergers and other public capital markets transactions. In addition to providing auditing, advisory, transaction, internal control and operations improvement services to REITs, pension fund advisors, homebuilders and others in the real estate industry, Mr. Henigan has extensive due diligence and valuation experience on portfolios with multifamily, commercial, hospitality and land assets and led the Ernst & Young Orange County office recruiting efforts. Mr. Henigan is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, among other professional associations and organizations. He is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received a degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting.
