There is no equity at the Irvine Company, it is a cash based company where the owner has total ownership and there is a disconnect between the mission of the owner and the morale of the whole company.
Too much like high school. People move up too quickly with little experience or actual care for others. Too many people worship the company without looking at the bigger picture
Hire people that actually work.
Coworkers are not incentivized to onboard new employees due to length of time working within the company. Groups are siloed and individuals with outreach and relationship based mindset work well within the company.
Grown men grovel at the feet of Donnie Bren. Pretty sick.
Entrenched views of work coming from a traditional industry with a boys club and top down management. Until the owner changes his leadership hold on the company, the company culture will stay the same.
Do yourself a favor and don't interview. RUN!
