Marketing Intern

The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting in a range of marketing initiatives within Jacaruso Enterprises and Hospitality Travel Network. This person will primarily support the social media strategy of these two companies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns for Jacaruso Enterprises and Hospitality Travel Network

• Create monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites

• Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience

• Perform social media marketing research

• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

• Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms

• Brainstorm, research, create and distribute compelling content such as graphics, infographics, videos and press releases on social media, company websites and as instructed

• Ensure brand message is consistent

• Assist with recruiting campaign strategy

• Support marketing event needs

• Ad-hoc marketing related tasks as needed

Salary:

• $15 / hour, 10-15 hours per week, flexible hours, work from home

The Ideal Candidate:

• Knowledge of marketing strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, Adobe Cloud Creative software

• Aptitude with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools such as Google Analytics

• Familiarity with consumer psychology and buying habits

• Ability to quickly learn and process information

• Organization and time management skills

Eligibility Requirements:

Current enrollment or recent graduate with a marketing degree, or related marketing field.
