Executive Bio
Michael J. Lyon brings a range of domestic and international experience to the position of Vice President – Tax. He has experience supervising tax functions in multinational corporation settings as well as public accounting.
Prior to joining Kaman Corporation, Mr. Lyon served as Vice President – Corporate Tax at Gerber Scientific, where he was the senior tax executive responsible for worldwide transaction planning, transfer pricing, accounting for income taxes, tax compliance and supervision of tax audits. He has also held progressively responsible positions in tax at Lydall, Inc.; Deloitte Tax, LLP; Top-Flite Golf Company; and Dexter Corporation.
Mr. Lyon received his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar shortly after his graduation. He is a CPA and earned his B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Western New England College. He and his wife live in Springfield, MA.
