Being in touch with the people who work at the bottom. They might as well be on another planet.
Since I am one of the most unimportant people at the company (i.e. teacher. How ironic, since it is an "education" company), I don't have benefits or stocks.
Higher pay. Not an expectation to work "under 40 hrs" a week, especially when you clearly work more than that.
Commissions are great; base pay bleh but not below average. Good enough if you work hard. Good OT opportunities.

Meetings need to be more efficient and directed, better communication about work being done by different parts of team, more velocity
When I came on board, we could deal with people. Now they do auditions via video, interviews via video with someone who doesn't have the power to hire. Finally, they will do a video interview with the person who has the power to hire, but it takes a long time and is impersonal.
Kaplan always finds ways to make something that could be simple complicated. Also, they want excellence from the workers but don't lead by example. The management treats clients poorly, and we at the bottom have to somehow make clients happy with the mess.
Massive layoffs. The people they are cutting are essential to Kaplan Test prep, this company will hemorrhage massive talent do to their self inflicted wound.
