It's a good place to work. Just needs better sales leadership. Sam Slater is a joke and Brandon just wants to cut costs by firing people and reducing the quality of tutoring. But the people on the front line are AWESOME! You will make good friends there.
The satisfaction of helping others.
They know what they want and only hire the best.
Great commission plan - it pays very well with lots of kickers
Awesome group of people. Dedicated and energetic and good at what they do!
Super personable and help each other out. The call Center staff are wonderful.
Making money! It's easy to make sales and rewards you pretty well. Very fair commissions.
The insurance is WAY overpriced and there is no vision plan. But, you do get benefits after 30 days, so that's nice.
You meet the top people BUT DO NOT waste time interviewing too many times or with people you won't see when hired. It's quick enough but also a reasonable challenge. Kaplan does NOT hire just anyone.
They are dedicated - I think they DO believe in helping others. But, as executives, they don't always look at costs, not students. They have to put investors ahead of actual success for students and have instituted some bad policies.
Brandon Jones - just there to cut jobs and save money. UNFORTUNATELY, he does it well. John Polstein - great guy. Very smart and great personality. A born leader who actually knows what he's doing and communicates it very well. I believe in him. Sam Slater - a jokester who doesn't do squat.
