Executive Bio
Mr. David Brunnert has been the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Key Energy Services, Inc. since November 30, 2016. Mr. Brunnert served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Express Energy Services Operating, L.P. since June 6, 2013 until December 2014. In this position, Mr. Brunnert was responsible for the operational side of the business and is based in ' headquarters in Houston. He served as Senior Vice President of Western Hemisphere at Frank's International N.V from July 2015 to September 2016. He is a 20-year industry veteran. Prior to joining Express, he served in various operational management positions with Weatherford International from 1997 to 2013, including Vice President of drilling tools and intervention services, global general manager of drilling tools, global business unit manager of performance drilling tools and other engineering management roles. While at Weatherford, he created more than 25 patented technologies that are used in the oil and gas industry. Previous to his association with Weatherford, he worked for Houston Engineers as a product engineer developing drilling and fishing technologies. His background also includes four years with the US Army Corps of Engineers where he was a paratrooper and combat engineer. He is a member of the Engineering Leadership Board for the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston. In addition, he is a member of the Society for Petroleum Engineers and the West Point Society of Greater Houston. Mr. Brunnert received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his Master of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.
