Philip Carrai — President of Technology & Training Solutions Division at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions

Mr. Phillip Carrai, also known as Phil, has been the President of Technology & Training Solutions Division at Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. since December 2009. Mr. Carrai is responsible for all aspects of business operations, sales, mergers and acquisitions. He has been Advisor at HawkEye 360, Inc. since July 06, 2017. He has been an advisor to many emerging technology companies in the National Capital Region. He has over 25 years experience in technology businesses, ranging from enterprise software and service to mobile media and internet infrastructure. He served as the President of the Network Security and Management Group at SYS Technologies Inc. since February 7, 2007. He served as an Executive Vice President of Information Technology Solutions at Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. since July 2008 until December 2009. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of AI Metrix Inc. Mr. Carrai's experience includes serving as Special Advisor to General Atlantic, a Global Private Equity Firm, Managing Director of the Morino Group, a Private Equity and Real Estate Investment Organization, Chief Executive Officer of McCabe and Associates and Vice President/General Manager of Legent Corporation. He served as an Informal Advisor to many emerging technology companies in the Washington D.C. metro area. He serves as Director of Alabanza. Mr. Carrai serves as a Board Member for Santa Cruz, Corp., and Network Alliance. He served as a Director of Vivisimo, Inc. since June 2009. He served as a Director of AI Metrix, Inc. He served as a Member of Advisory Board of Vivisimo, Inc. He served on the Board of Internosis prior to its acquisition by EMC Corporation and Ztango prior to its acquisition by Real Networks. He is a frequent speaker on the subjects of product management, sales and marketing and has taught on the subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Mr. Carrai holds a B.S. in Information Science and Economics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1983 and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in 1989 and Bachelor's degree in information systems and accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
