The work of this company is very satisficatory
This store has a lot of room to grow, and not just the specific store I worked at. The managers are always willing to upgrade your security when authorization is required if you show initiative
They care about employees, customers
Health care coverage is terrific. I as excited about unlimited PTO - however, I have since learned we are NOT allowed to take unlimited time off.
Vacation time and they paay fairly
I work part-time so I don't receive any benefits. Most of the people that work there are part-time because they are teachers. I am not a teacher.
Increase in my salary every year is based upon how much I take on. Very fair and competitive.
There are way too many meetings for things that could just have been an email. It's impossible to keep up with all of the meeting expectations and still make your sales goals and MAR

Our customers are made up of teachers, most likely about 65% and the other percent are parents. All of the stores host a craft every Saturday for the kids-they love it! It gives the parents time to shop while the kids are engaged. Teachers often join too, it gives them ideas for the classroom
Work hard but what you put into it is what you get out of it. Career opportunities are great for hardworking, smart, flexible people.

It was very short, I think they just wanted to make sure I was a generally nice person, since I would be working around children also

Compensation is projected to be good. Although they laid off 200 people at the start of the year, so I should probably keep that in the back of my mind.
