Scott Meikle — Senior Vice President of Global Customer Operations at Lam Research Corporation

Dr. Scott Meikle has been the Senior Vice President of Global Customer Operations at Lam Research Corporation since October 18, 2017. Dr. Meikle spent 25 years in the memory devices sector of the semiconductor industry. Dr. Meikle started his career in process R&D and advanced to various leadership roles in business operations across multiple geographies for Micron Technology. Dr. Meikle served as the President of Inotera Memories Inc from September 1, 2009 to November 10, 2015. Dr. Meikle served as an Executive Vice President of Inotera Memories Inc. (also known as Micron Technology, Inc) since June 2010 and its General Manager since September 1, 2012. Prior to joining Inotera, he served as Factory Manager in charge of managing Micron's manufacturing facility in Japan since September 2005, focusing on manufacturing efficiency, organizational development and integration of domestic workforce into a multinational company. From 2002 to 2005, he served as Micron Virginia Pilot Line Manager, leading the start-up and volume ramp of Micron's first 300mm manufacturing facility. He served as a Director of Inotera Memories Inc. until December 1, 2015. Dr. Meikle joined Micron in 1991. Dr. Meikle holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from Shizuoka University, a M.S. in Engineering Physics from McMaster University and a B.Sc. in Physics from University of Calgary.
