I had an unexpected medical emergency about 11 months after i started with Lamar. I didn't know this would find me hospitalized 4 different times over 94 days. My GM & manager called me weekly to see how i was doing. They made sure I got paid while waiting for my ST disability to kick in. Awesome!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Lamar increased the number of holidays to include most govt. holidays. My salary is fair. Benefits compare equally or better to companies i have worked for in the past. They allow you to carry over a negative balance of PTO which was necessary for me last year.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I interviewed twice. Once for a straight sales position and once for a creative position. The sales interview went okay, but the interviewer made it clear that my creative experience with sales was different from sales, but did alert me to a creative position that was opening soon. Hired 2nd time.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Lamar is a company where all the team member work together to make sure our customers get the best service possible. Weather plays a factor in what we do, so we work ahead to make sure customers receive attention when weather puts a monkey wrench in installation plans. We look out for each other!
