The compensation was completely unfair given the hours required to work. Some individuals were paid less than federal and state minimum wage. The vacation days they allowed us literally 5 per year. I would say paying individuals who worked a manufacturing side position more fairly is a must.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Not completely pushing and confining people into a corner of the company, never letting them have the opportunities they could use to expand their skillsets and grow. They would rather see you do the same job for 10 years than look at another position that would enable you upward mobility.
