Terence Johnson — Head of Global Distribution & Executive VP at Legg Mason

Mr. Terence Johnson, also known as Terry, has been the Head of Global Distribution at Legg Mason, Inc. since March 2013 and its Executive Vice President since April 2013. Previously, Mr. Johnson served as Interim Head of Global Distribution at Legg Mason, Inc. since October 2012 and headed International Distribution. He is responsible for overseeing the firm's U.S. and international retail distribution efforts, including activities related to the sale of the firm's and its affiliated managers' products to intermediaries across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, Japan and Australia. Mr. Johnson joined Legg Mason Global Asset Management in December 2005. Previously, he worked at Citigroup Asset Management, serving as Managing Director and Head of International Private Asset Management. Mr. Johnson joined Citigroup Asset Management in 2003 and his responsibilities involved leading teams responsible for implementing and selling fund and managed portfolio solutions to high net worth clients throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Prior to this, he worked for JP Morgan Asset Management in retail and institutional distribution positions in various areas across the U.S., Europe and Asia. Mr. Johnson has vast global asset management distribution experience. He graduated with High Honors, where he majored in History, concentrating on Russian Studies from Wesleyan University.
