Mr. James R. Moos, also known as Jim, serves as Group President of Leidos Engineering, LLC. Mr. Moos serves as President of Engineering Solutions Group at Leidos Holdings, Inc. (formerly known as SAIC, Inc.) and served as its Senior Vice President and Group General Manager of Engineering Solutions Group since April 2013. He joined Leidos Engineering's legacy company, SAIC, in 1998 and has spent the majority of his career managing large, complex organizations and multi-million dollar programs such as the Guardian Installation Protection Program, a joint Department of Defense program providing chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear detection, protection, and response capability to military installations worldwide. His leadership was tapped to help orchestrate the design and execution of SAIC's separation into two independent, publicly traded companies and formation of Leidos in September 2013. As part of the design team, he helped define the strategic roadmap, architectures for the new companies, and system and functional requirements needed for success. Mr. Moos has more than 24 years of experience in managing large, complex organizations and programs covering both the technical and business aspects of environmental, construction and engineering activities. Since joining Leidos Holdings, Inc. more than 14 years ago, he led its Environment & Civil Infrastructure Operation. He has also managed multi-million dollar, complex programs with budgets greater than $500 million in many diverse areas, including program management, risk evaluation and assessment, environmental engineering and construction, facility engineering and management services, and emergency system design and construction. Mr. Moos served as Deputy General Manager at Engineering Solutions Group of Leidos Holdings, Inc. Mr. Moos was with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and MK Ferguson Co. He also spent more than six years in the U.S. Navy's Nuclear Power Program.
