High focus on retaining and growing existing talent
Giving opportunities; space and support to grow; continuous iteration of values in engagements with meetings, out reach programs,

The Experience of the team plus the training.
Best team who supports each other
Transparency and accessibility of the managers
Being human, and acting like it
Sticking up for the field service techs. Forcing people to take vacation who are paid hourly is foul. It doesnt hurt the salaried higher ups, it only hurts us.

getting a clue. They live in a corporate bubble and just pat each other on the back with no idea of what their employees need
Everything and nothing. That would be an exercise in futility.
Communication, leadership, trust, employee relations, pay

The medical is pretty good compared to other places, flexible work environment, and fair salary.
Medical plan is effective and affordable
11 paid holidays, ample vacation and flexibility in schedule. Also, something called Disability Sick Leave (DSL) which accrues over time and pays you at 100% salary should you need to take any extended medical leave. Typical disability insurance pays either 50% or 66% of your salary.
the basic annual salary every year

The HEALTH AND WELLNESS benefit it's truly a blessing.
Compensation is not correlated to performance. You might as well just coast while working here and improving your skills, or earning experience for a better job elsewhere.
Pay at the industry standard
I would appreciate more conversation about salary. It's only discussed once a year and then decisions are handed down, without discussion. Management decides, gets it approved before telling you. Raises are hard to get as well...
How about a cost of living that actually matches the real cost of living!!
Compensation is low relative to industry competitors and benefits are lackluster and are being cut.
Mature group of committed professionals
Excellent comradery, supportiveness and innovation.
they feel very connected to Leidos
Review from Engineering Dept
We are like family I see them as much as I see my real family.
Smart individuals who want to help find creative solutions to hard problems. Conflict is embraced worh open arms but done worh respect for each other
Review from Finance Dept
If our group had the mentality that we were a team we would be effective. Instead it feels like everyone is always stabbing each other in the back to make themselves look better.
managers need to actually know their employees, i dont even know who my managers boss is and my manager doesnt even know who i am
In some cases yes, I just don't like being around a lot of complainers.

They are not held accountable or developed as leaders
Review from Engineering Dept
Too absorbed in minutia, too many meetings, too much personal drama at work
Collaboration. We grow as a team and at least for my team, the culture tries to treat everyone and every idea equally.
My sector leader is a positive driver who engages well at all levels
The professionalism is the most positive at the company.
Interacting with smart individuals with different perspectives

We all chip in to do what it takes to be successful.
Management needs to hire qualified candidates to lead and not just put anyone in management positions.
pay us. you made 20% profit last year and we got less than cost of living.
Nothing. It's no use. You would have to get rid of the upper management or whoever else is on the take with funds.
Greater flexibility, telework options, flex time, these are things that would help.

Better acknowledgement of employees work.

Getting to understand the problems and thinking about how they could be resolved on the fly
I was interviewed to be hired more the 20 years ago - now I'm the interviewer.
Fast and quick. Transparent and engaging
Review from Engineering Dept
What I liked most about the interview process was its conciseness and clarity. The questions were straightforward and focused, allowing for clear and efficient communication.
It was essentially just an HR screening and a smaller technical screening. Pretty easy and straight forward but also got me to know a lot more about the people I would be working with. It felt relaxed and that was nice.
be honest. dont lie about advancement and job prospects when there are none.
It's pointless, the whole place needs to be reconstituted.
Too many people are in the interview room.

provide better feedback about the project

Working on tought problems and being allowed to raise creative solutions

Taking care of our employees.
The contract was never set up according to government guidelines. As a result everyone is just winging it to try to get the project done.
management is all about metrics and corpo-babble. They feel great about standing on the shoulders of their employees
Nothing. The company is not salvageable unless employees are given proper contracts and protection from upper management corruption and arbitrariness.
Management has blundered repeatedly, but refuse to listen to any underlings about the problems. They blame their workers, but impede their performance constantly. Executive management lost 10% market share on our contract, equivalent to $700+ million in lost business over 10 years.

give new employees new laptops

I like the commitment to acquiring new business in multiple locations.

my projects, and my autonomy
The thing I like best about the company/department that I work for is the flexibility of my schedule.
Review from Operations Dept
Vetting of potential employment candidates, the team overall is good it's just the culture of our younger workers makes leading a challenge without compromising the strength of the group.

support within the broader institution, advocacy
