Mr. Jerald S. Howe, Jr., also known as Jerry. has been an Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Leidos Holdings, Inc. since July 1, 2017. Mr. Howe has responsibility for legal, contracts and pricing; environmental health and safety and internal audit at Leidos Holdings, Inc. He joined Leidos in July 2017. He served as Partner at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP (Fried Frank) where he was a member of its government contracts, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and aerospace and defense practices. He is an accomplished leader who has demonstrated solid ethics and integrity throughout his 30 years of experience advising and representing clients (including Leidos) in government contracts litigation, investigations and bid protests as well as M&A and private equity transactions. His experience includes the aerospace, defense and intelligence sectors. He served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at TASC, a leading aerospace and defense company, where he oversaw its legal affairs, corporate development and M&A, ethics and compliance programs, government relations and security. He was the owner and principal of InSequitur LLC. He served as Executive Vice President of the Olive Group. He served as Senior Vice President of Olive Group from May 2006 to November 2007. Mr. Howe served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Veridian Corporation from February 2000 to October 2003. Before that, he was a Partner with the law firm Steptoe & Johnson LLP, Washington, D.C., concentrating on aerospace law and transactions, federal contracts and litigation in high technology procurement from 1991 to January 2000. Mr. Howe served as Outside Counsel to Veridian and its predecessors, as well as a number of other defense, aerospace and information technology companies. He represented preeminent defense, aerospace and information technology companies including Boeing, Hughes, McDonnell Douglas and Motorola. He served as Vice President of Intelligence Solutions for publicly-traded SRA International Inc. He served as Principal of Argotyche Inc. from November 2005 to May 2006. He served as Vice President of SRA International from December 2004 to November 2005. He served as a Director of Intermap Technologies Corporation since January 13, 2005 until August 3, 2011. Mr. Howe holds Honors degrees from Princeton University, Oxford University and Harvard Law School where he was Editor of the Harvard Law Review.
