Executive Bio

Mr. Richard Zhu has been Managing Director of Beijing Office, China at Lincoln International LLC since January 9, 2018. Mr. Zhu joined Lincoln International in 2013. He served as Vice President of investment banking division at Morgan Stanley Huaxin Securities, Consultant at Bain & Company in Shanghai. He holds MBA degree from the Wharton School & University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor degree in Finance from Xiamen University. Mr. Zhu has over 9 years of experience in financial services and management consulting. As a banker, he has advised Chinese state-owned and private companies on M&A transactions and capital raising. As a consultant, he advised Fortune 500 companies in China market entry and post merger integration, as well as providing commercial due diligence for buyout funds. He joined Lincoln International from Morgan Stanley Huaxin Securities ('MSHX') where he was a Vice President of investment banking division. At MSHX, he advised clients on China A-share IPO, private placement and M&A transactions, based in Beijing and Shanghai. Prior to MSHX, he was a consultant at the Shanghai office of Bain & Company. He has worked for clients across industries in China, including restructuring for a major retailer, post merger integration for two biscuit companies, buy-side advisory for a leading pharmaceutical group, private placement for a mobile payment company, and follow-on issuance for a mining equipment company. He also has deal experiences in auto tire, fast food chain, retail banking and telecom equipment. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's degree in finance from Xiamen University.
