Robert B. Barr — Global Co-Chief Executive Officer at Lincoln International

Mr. Robert B. Barr, Rob has been Global Co-Chief Executive Officer of Lincoln International LLC since March 28, 2017. Mr. Barr served as the Chief Executive Officer of North America at Lincoln International LLC at Lincoln International AG until March 28, 2017. He served as the President of North America, a Managing Director and Co-Chairman of the Management Committee at Lincoln International. In this role, Mr. Barr jointly provides overall strategic, operational and financial direction for it. He served as Executive Officer of Lincoln International Corp. Mr. Barr actively markets the firm's services, manages key client relationships and leads deal teams. Mr. Barr co-founded Lincoln Partners in 1996. He has extensive experience in working with large corporate clients and private equity firms in marketing and negotiating the sale of manufacturing, distribution and service businesses. Mr. Barr's experience ranges from the sale of premier companies to those businesses challenged by under-performing assets, changing technology, or dependence on a narrow customer base. He has advised on acquisitions and restructurings as well as providing fairness opinions and valuations for shareholders' rights plans. In addition, Mr. Barr has advised on both public and private financings. He served for six years as a Senior Officer at Peers and Co. From 1979 to 1990, Mr. Barr worked within corporate finance for PaineWebber Incorporated, leaving in 1990 as a Senior Officer in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department to help establish the Chicago office of Peers and Co. He began his career with Data Resources, Inc. Mr. Barr holds an MBA from The Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Economics from Case Western Reserve University.
