From July 1998 to December 2000, he served as Vice President and Controller of Thermo-King, a unit of Ingersoll-Rand Company Limited. Mr. Downing graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Neb. with a Bachelor's degree in Management and completed his MBA.
