Equitable pay and benefits, better communication especially between departments, remote work opportunities, hiring talent from outside the immediate area
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
C-level management and VPs make millons for their base pay, but anyone under that makes below-market hour rates and salaries. Less expensive benefits package would help.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Entrenched imperial attitude of over-paid management and long-term employees. Need equitable pay and benefits, and hire competitive talent outside of the immediate area, with remote work opportunities.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Culture change from imperial, long-term, entrenched management to skilled competitive talent outside of Michiana area. Remote work for office and technology employees. Better communication and improve isolation/siloing of departments. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
