Ed Blair is responsible for the company’s global operations, with overall responsibility for achieving sales, profits, and balance sheet objectives. He also serves on Lutron’s Board of Directors.

His 27-year Lutron career has spanned numerous assignments and departments, including engineering, human resources, sales, and marketing. This experience prepared him for several senior leadership roles including Vice-President and General Manager of the Commercial Systems and Window Systems Business Units, Senior Vice-President of the Residential Systems Business Unit, and Executive Vice-President.
Ed’s solid engineering, technical, and operations background, combined with strong business acumen and strategic vision, resulted in success at all levels of the organization. Most notably, as President, Ed led Lutron to its two best years of sales growth in the company’s 62-year history. In addition, he orchestrated Lutron’s 2018 acquisition of Austin, Texas-based Ketra, the leading manufacturer of human-centric lighting systems, making history as only the third acquisition in Lutron’s history.
