Gregory A. Framke — Executive VP & Chief Information Officer at Manulife Financial Corp

Mr. Gregory A. Framke, also known as Greg, has been Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of Manulife Financial Corporation of The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company since January 14, 2016. Mr. Framke is responsible for all of Manulife's Information Services (IS) activities on a global basis and advancing the Manulife's effective use of information technology. He served as an Advisor of E*TRADE Financial Corporation from February 4, 2013 to March 31, 2013 and also served as its Chief Operations Officer and Executive Vice President since 2005 to February 4, 2013. Mr. Framke served as the Chief Information Officer of E*TRADE Financial Corporation since October 2005 and serves as its Managing Director. His career spans 20 years in both the financial services and technology industries with experience in sales, marketing and technology. Prior to joining E*TRADE FINANCIAL in 2000, he served as Global Equity Technology Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank Securities. He served as a Principal of Morgan Stanley & Co for equity technology in New York and London from 1994 to 1999. Before moving to Wall Street, he worked in marketing and sales management positions at IBM, earning numerous awards and commendations. He served as a Director of Access Worldwide Communications, Inc. since February 2008. He served as a Director of HSBC InvestDirect (India) Ltd. (alternate name, IL&FS Investsmart Limited) from February 28, 2008 to September 2008. He has been recognized as one of InfoWorld's 25 Most Influential Chief Technology Officer's, as a ComputerWorld Honors Program Laureate and as a two-time recipient of Chief Information Officer's Top 100 for Innovation. Mr. Framke holds a BA in International Finance/International Affairs, graduating with honors from The George Washington University.
