Martifer is a Portugal-based holding company primarily engaged in the construction industry and in the renewable energy sector. The company divides its business into two main segments: metallic construction and solar. In the metallic construction area, the company is involved in the construction of steel structures, glass and aluminum facades, as well as in the manufacture of components for wind turbines, steel towers, and equipment for the offshore and oil industry. Martifer is also active in the construction of industrial and naval projects. In the solar segment, the company is engaged in the development of photo-voltaic projects and installation of solar energy parks, as well as in the production and distribution of photo-voltaic modules. Additionally, the company develops and constructs projects in the sector of renewable energy, including wind power and bio fuel sectors. The company seeks to expand it's business operations through mergers and acquisitions.
