Mr. Michael D. Anderson, also known as Mike, has been the President of Brush Wellman Inc. since July 2008. Mr. Anderson joined Brush Wellman in July 1974 and served as its Vice President of Beryllium Products since March 5, 1996. He served as Director of Sales and Marketing of Beryllium Products since November 1994. He served as Director of Marketing of Ceramics at Brush Wellman since February 1994 and served as its Director of Marketing since April 1989. Mr. Anderson has held technical, sales and senior management positions within Brush Wellman's Alloy Products units, as well as at Williams Advanced Materials Inc., another wholly-owned subsidiary of Brush Engineered Materials Inc. Mr. Anderson is an Active Member of a number of technical and industry professional organizations. Mr. Anderson is a Graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and later earned an MBA from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
