Executive Bio

Mr. Vicente S. Angoco, Jr, also known as Vic, has been Senior Vice President of Pacific of Matson, Inc. since June 2012. Mr. Angoco serves as an Executive Vice President of Matson subsidiary, Matson Terminals Inc. He serves as Country Manager of Guam of Matson Navigation Company. He has been in the maritime industry since 1990, and held a wide range of operations and sales management positions. He served as an Executive Vice President of Mti. He served as Vice President of Pacific Operations of Matson Navigation Company Inc., since March 13, 2008. He joined Matson in 1996 and served as its Manager of Operations, Guam and also served as its Manager of Sales and Customer Service. As part of a management development program, Mr. Angoco transferred to San Francisco in 2001 and served as Manager of National Accounts and Eastern Area Sales of Matson. Since 2002, he served as Manager of Container Operations of Matson and transferred to Honolulu. Since 2004, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Young Brothers, Ltd./Hawaiian Tug & Barge and also served as its Vice President and General Manager since 2005. Since 2006, he served as Senior Vice President of Young Brothers, Ltd./Hawaiian Tug & Barge. Prior to joining Matson, Mr. Angoco served as Manager of operations of American President Lines (APL) for four years and also served as an Operations Manager of Sea-Land Services in Guam from 1990 to 1992. Mr. Angoco serves as Chairman of the Guam Bookmobile Foundation, Board Member of the Mount Carmel Endowment Foundation and a Member of the Rotary Club of Guam and Guam Business Partner for Recycling program. He served as a Board Member of the Junior Achievement of Guam. Mr. Angoco studied BS in Business Management from Oregon State University.
