Right now, you cannot use your insurance to cover the cost of a Maven appointment. But in many cases, the cost of a Maven appointment is less than a co-pay! If your provider writes you a prescription, you can use your insurance at the pharmacy when you're picking up your medication.

View ArticleWhen you schedule an appointment, there is a pre-authorized charge placed on the card to ensure that funds are available for the appointment. Those funds will be released and no charge will go through if you cancel within 10 minutes of booking the appointment or greater than 24 hours before the start of the appointment. You should see the charge disappear from your bank statement within 5-10 days of canceling, but often much sooner.
The pre-authorized charge will be completed and your credit card will be charged whenever you complete an appointment or cancel/reschedule an appointment more than 10 minutes after scheduling it and less than 24 hours prior to the start time.
View ArticleYes! The majority of insurance coverage hasn't yet accepted telemedicine as a covered service, so in most cases insurance cannot be used to cover the cost of Maven appointments. We offer appointment packages for both Mental Health and Nutrition appointments to help keep the cost of meeting as affordable as possible. The packages were offer are listed below:

View ArticleTo enter your pharmacy information, you can select "My Appointments" from the Maven side menu, then select the individual appointment to view. There, you'll see a Pharmacy Information option where you can fill out all relevant details.
Here's a quick trick: if you search by the zip code of your pharmacy (instead of your home zip code) as the zip code and the pharmacy store number as the pharmacy name, you'll see your pharmacy and be able to select it for your practitioner! For example, if your Walgreens is Walgreens Store #12345, I recommend entering "12345" in your pharmacy name spot to search.
View ArticleTo enter a referral or promo code, please sign into Maven via the website or the App. You can first click "Account Settings" on the left side. Once there, you'll need to scroll to Payments and Credits, and click "Edit Payment Method." After that, you'll be able to scroll down past the credit card information fields, and you'll see a place to add your referral code. After entering the code, officially click "Apply Code." It's important that you apply this code before you book as it cannot be applied after.

After 24 hours, we encourage you to keep your appointment and check-in with your practitioner. If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled start ordon'tlaunch your appointment, youll be charged a market-rate per-appointment cancellation fee so that your practitioner is paid for the time she has set aside in her day.

View ArticleMaven is a secure video platform rather than an audio-only platform, so you cannot schedule a Maven phone call. During the booking process, you do have the option to enter your phone number, but your practitioner will only be able to see your phone number as a backup after an initial video connection has been made. View ArticleYour provider will write a post-session note with a summary of your visit and any recommendations. This note will not be emailed for security purposes, but you can always access this note for reference securely through the Maven platform. It can be found under Previous Appointments, and you will be notified via a push notification when the note is ready.
If you and your provider agreed on a prescription as a part of your care, your provider will electronically prescribe your medication to the pharmacy of your choice once you have entered your pharmacy information in your appointment details.
View ArticleThe times of the appointments are in the same timezone as the device (computer or Apple Device) that you use to book. If you are traveling, the timezone will not correlate with the state that you have listed in your account - if your device updates, Maven will update as well!

Maven then provides you a list of recommended practitioners and the days and times they are available. Once you've found a practitioner who is a good fit for your needs, you can make an appointment and secure a time slot via a credit card on Maven's secure platform.

Your practitioner will do the same and youll connect via video. Please note: you cannot tap the launch bar until 10 minutes before your appointment.

For all other prescriptions, our practitioners use their clinical judgement to determine whether or not telemedicine is the appropriate setting to prescribe medication. Fill out your pre-session note and pharmacy information (if applicable) by selecting My Appointments and then the individual appointment.
Update your Maven Health Binder with any allergies or current medications. These things are required if you would like a prescription and will help your practitioner prepare for your appointment.

The practitioner won't see your name or any other information about you perfect for any embarrassing questions! You can't get a prescription in an education-only appointment.
