Mr. Paul A. DiSangro has been a Partner at Mayer Brown LLP. Mr. DiSangro was a Partner at Nixon Peabody LLP in Tax Controversies and Litigation Team. Mr. DiSangro represents individuals and corporations in tax controversies, including before the IRS (audits and Appeals), the California Franchise Tax Board, and the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. DiSangro also advises clients on a broad range of international, federal, and state tax issues. Mr. DiSangro has taught courses on international taxation in the LL.M. Tax Program at the Golden Gate Law School. He has also served as a faculty advisor for independent research papers on international tax topics. He holds L.L.M. in Taxation, with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center in 1997; J.D., magna cum laude; Order of the Coif; University of Miami Law Review from University of Miami School of Law in 1995 and B.A., magna cum laude Georgetown University in 1991.
