I'm inspired and often challenged by the people I work with and the work I do. I've done more important work here than in the previous decades before joining Mazzetti. Every time I get to interact with colleagues, it makes my day a little better.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Very informal, but with high standards for quality of work. Creativity and good ideas are valued and supported.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Visionary - always pushing/pulling to make us a better company, but also respectful of employees. Inspiring and caring at the same time.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Fair pay, bonuses based on company profit and my performance, and benefits that mean I don't have to think/worry about medical, retirement, etc.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Fun. There's a great sense of humor - at all levels. It's great to work with smart people who know what they're doing, where everyone helps each other, and we have fun doing it.
What makes you most happy at work?
I'm doing important work - reducing the carbon emissions of the healthcare sector. I get to share knowledge (both ways) with other people. I genuinely enjoy talking with/working with my team - across the country.
