Ms. Lori A. Schechter, J.D., has been the Chief Compliance Officer, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of McKesson Corporation since June 23, 2014. Ms. Schechter served as an Associate General Counsel of McKesson. She was a Litigation Partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP. She served as the Global Chair of its 490-attorney Litigation Department until April 2007. She represents clients in federal, state and multidistrict class action cases involving antitrust and unfair competition claims, false advertising and privacy, as well as other complex litigation. In addition, she represented clients in investigations and actions brought by government officials, including the FTC, various state Attorneys General and state District Attorneys. Her clients span various industries, including Internet companies, pharmaceutical companies, electronics manufacturers, beverage manufacturers and other consumer product manufacturers. She served as the Chair of Morrison & Foerster's Litigation Department from 2003 to 2007. She was recognized as a Leading Litigation Lawyer in California by Chambers USA in 2005. In 2005, she was listed as a Northern California 'Super Lawyer' for General Litigation in the San Francisco Magazine. She has also been named one of the top 50 female litigators in the country by the National Law Journal and was selected by California Law Business as one of the top 20 under 40 California Lawyers in 2001. She is on the Editorial Board of Class Action Reports, Inc. and is a Member of the National Association of Women Judges (NAWJ) Resource Board. She has been a Member of the Supervisory Board at Celesio AG since June 22, 2016. Ms. Schechter received her B.A. degree from Cornell University in 1983, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa and her J.D. degree from Yale Law School in 1987. She served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Mark L. Wolf, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, during 1987 and 1988.
