Mr. Pete Slone has been Senior Vice President of Corporate Public Affairs at McKesson Corporation since June 2015. Mr. Slone joined McKesson from Medtronic plc where he served as the Vice President of global government affairs for more than thirteen years. Prior to joining Medtronic, he spent seventeen years McKesson Corporation at the government affairs firm BKSH and Associates (now Prime Policy Group) in Washington, D.C., including tenure as managing director. While at BKSH, his clients included a number of leading healthcare interests such as Baxter Healthcare, Medtronic, and the Santa Clara Valley, CA Health and Hospital System. He is a frequent lecturer on topical healthcare reform issues for hospital administration, clinical and academic audiences. Mr. Slone holds a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Keenan-Flagler School of Business.
