Mr. Michael Pray has been Executive Vice President of Sales at Medidata Solutions, Inc. since October 24, 2016, where he leads global commercial organization. Mr. Pray has more than 25 years of industry experience and a proven track record of building and scaling teams, in both start-up and high growth environments. He served as Chief Revenue Officer of Tangoe, Inc. from July 1, 2015 to October 3, 2016. Prior to Tangoe, he spent 14 years within IBM's software group that included a series of executive positions with roles of increasing responsibility. He served as Vice President of worldwide analytic solution sales at IBM, where he was responsible for sales, technical sales and channels that drove over $1.5B in annual revenue. Prior to that, also at IBM, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Enterprise Content Management Software Sales where he was responsible for leading a team that delivered record market share. In addition, he was a Director of West Region Software Sales for IBM. Mr. Pray also served Vice President of Sales at World Class Technology. He has held a number of executive leadership roles at IBM, including Director of Software Sales, Business Unit Executive for worldwide portal sales and Executive Assistant to IBM's Senior Vice President of Software. Prior to IBM, he held executive sales roles at World Class Technology, ASC and Univision. He served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Schooner Information Technology, Inc. He received numerous awards including IBM's Gerstner Excellence Award. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
